These guys are beyond amazing. We were scammed by another company and Dom and his team stepped right up to help us with no notice. 4 guys showed up the very next day after we called them and they wrapped and got everything into the garage and then the next morning, three guys showed up to load a very large semi. They meticulously ’tetrised’ the Semi so absolutely everything fit! And we were extremely thankful for the kindness and carefulness. No company will do a better job for you.

Glad I found Cast Iron Movers. We had a 16x8x8 POD to unload at the new house, the pod was placed on an angle, of course the new house had stairs and to top it off we had to reschedule when we had to move our move in date by a week. Dom, Will Ned and Lyndon were champs, handling all the issues easily and getting the job done on time. They took care to move things safely and handled all our items, including a grandfather clock my grandfather built with great care. I would recommend Dom’s Cast Iron Movers and Will, Ned and Lyndon in particular for either long or short distance moves.

Ten years ago I needed movers to help move all my furniture locally. I found this tiny add in Craigslist, cheap labor. I was on a budget and moved all the boxes myself but needed help with the big heavy stuff. Cast Iron, okay, I figured I’d give them a try. Two strapping young men showed up with their rickety old moving truck. Dominic and Deckland, like when parents used to name their kids with matching names but they weren’t brothers. I remember both of them clearly. Dominic said he was starting a business and hired his friend Deckland and I thought, that’s cool, good luck because it’s not easy. These boys, I mean young men, they worked hard. They came bushy eyed and prepared with all the tools and supplies necessary to get the job done. I watched them and they knew what they were doing; lifting, maneuvering and carrying these heavy pieces, loading and unloading. I was impressed. They were efficient, polite, eager and precise. This was quality work for a very reasonable price. They did an excellent job and I had hoped Dominic well wishes in his business ventures. Fast forward to August 2026. I needed movers again but this time to move my whole big 3000 sqft household full of all my belongings into a large shipping container. I called around to get some estimates and one company Cast Iron Moving, which I had completely forgotten about, sent me an email, signed Dominic… I remembered that name and face and wondered if it could be the same kid. It was! Ten years later and here he was except now his business had grown and developed tremendously. They offer everything from loading and unloading, local, long distance, packing, pianos, assembly, same day moving and accommodating special requests. The prices were competitive and Dominic was on top of everything. With all his experience and expertise now, he was running his operation like a well-oiled machine. He was impeccably organized, helped me and made it so easy to coordinate what I needed especially during this stressful time so I decided to go with this company again. On moving day two young strapping men, Aames and Quinn, showed up right on time, not a minute later. They were polite, professional, communicated well and got straight to work and labored for 6.5 straight hours on a hot summer’s day (I felt so bad I didn’t even give them lunch but I tipped them afterwards). They were thoughtful, kept me in the loop and filled my shipping container like a perfect puzzle utilizing every nook and cranny to maximize the space. They handled all my heavy furniture and boxes, loose items, irregular items with care and I’m thankful for their hard work and diligence. Dominic had trained his employees well and they did an excellent job just like the OG 10 years ago. When I need labor for unloading my shipping container in the near future, no doubt I’ll be using Cast Iron Moving. You can trust Dominic, he will take care of you during a stressful time and help you with this transition. Highly recommended!!

We had a team from your company move much of the furniture in our home into our garage so new carpeting could be installed. The team of four young men arrived on time, were professional, friendly, hard working and so careful with all our things including mostly antiques and a grand piano. We are very pleased with the service we got, they gave us an hour heads up and showed up happy and willing to help. They were efficient and if we move again we will ask for their help!

The guys showed up early, did 4 hours of work in 2 hours, disassembled and reassembled some furniture and moved a piano among other heavy items. The were careful not to scuff floors or walls and were unfailingly good humored. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat

I always dread moving because I’ve had such bad experiences with movers in the past, but the Cast Iron Movers team that did my move today was truly top-notch. They helped get everything just how I wanted it and really went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of. And they should win movers of the year for surviving the move of my piano! Words can’t sufficiently express how much of a relief it was to be helped by such sharp and hard-working people Can’t recommend them enough and, if I do another local move, I know who I’ll be hiring!
